Gate-Way is part of Kingdom Exchange Ministries based in Gillingham, Kent

Is is our conviction that the church should not shut itself away from the troubles of the world.  The news of war, famine, sickness and death should resound in our ears.

But rather than provoking us to despair, this should spur us into action.  While we wait for Christ's imminent return, we are to do the works of the kingdom of God.  This means that we should offer support and care to not only believers in Christ but to the whole community at large, from whatever background, race or creed.  All for the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.  There are essential social needs in our local communities around us, which Gate-Way would like to help address.  We want the love and grace of God to be made known to those who are lonely, over-worked, oppressed, poor, sick and those treated injustly in our communities.

Our Mission

Gate-Way's mission as a church is to make Jesus known, through acts of kindness and love.  Jesus is love Himself and He taught us to have compassion for people.  We believe that the good news about Jesus is the best news any man, women or child can receive, He is the answer to all the world's problems.  We have experienced God work in our lives and desire to share this experience - the amazing grace and love of God.

Whilst we are always ready to share the 'good news' with anyone who asks, we have set-up the Gate-way Internet Cafe to serve the local community and earn the right to share our faith, with those who want to hear.  The bible says 'he who has ears to hear, let him hear" Luke 8:8  We are also taught in the bible "keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking [reverently] and [the door] will be opened to you"  Matthew 7:7
